THE Institute for Animal Health (IAH) has said it is "highly improbable" that the recent outbreak of foot and mouth disease could be connected to a book published two years ago.

Under the Blood Red Sky was written by Dr Richard Collins, a former UK resident who now lives in Hong Kong. It focuses on a British scientist who desperately tries to avert an outbreak of foot and mouth in the USA.....
